Our journey began with the efforts of Dr. Wallace Bridge, an academic at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. Wallace recognized that the immediate precursor to glutathione, gamma-glutamylcysteine (GGC, trademarked "Glyteine®") was the only biochemistry-based theoretical option for increasing cellular glutathione above homeostasis. Together with his PhD student, Martin Zarka, they developed and patented a GGC manufacturing process, which was licensed to Inid Research Labs for commercialization. Since then, Wallace's UNSW research efforts have focused on confirming GGC's unique bioavailability in human studies and testing its potential efficacy in models of oxidative stress related health conditions. After a 20 year journey, Glyteine® is now available to consumers in the Continual-G® range of dietary supplements.
Our CONTINUAL-G® line of dietary supplements contains the nutrient-based ingredient 'Glyteine' which can naturally increase cellular glutathione levels above homeostasis throughout the body. During aging, our cells lose the capacity to maintain sufficient glutathione levels to neutralize the free radicals generated by normal metabolism and those additional ones produced during illness.
